The sisters of ΤΒΣ work throughout the school year on various projects which help keep the Boston University band programs running smoothly. These projects can vary from year to year and season to season, depending on the needs of the bands and what Chris Parks (or the rest of the BUMO Staff) might need us to do.
Our largest project every year is the organizing, distribution, and fitting adjustments of the Marching Band uniforms. The sisters keep an itemized list of every jacket, hat, and pair of pants that are handed out to each band member at the beginning of the season, as well as noting uniform pieces that need repair or are no longer usable. We fit each band member with a uniform and hem pant lengths and make adjustments as needed.
Throughout the year, the sisters also organize and host small receptions during the intermissions of BUMO concerts and perform many other service projects both large and small.
